The Philosophy of Photography Lecture: Cultivating Intention & Ideas In Rooms

Join Artist Brittany Markert, Storyteller, Darkroom Printer & Photographer of In Rooms at a private location in Manhattan, NY on Sunday April 15th for her first lecture.

Brittany will share her personal philosophy on photography and engage the audience in an at-home practice to cultivate intention and ideas within their own artistic practice. With a selection of prints and references to Brittany's personal mentors and inspiration, learn the process and intention behind some of In Rooms most iconic work and other artists and have the opportunity to view works up close.

The segment will conclude with a preview of new unpublished works, a Q&A and meet and greet with the artist and participants. You are encouraged to walk away with a new friend, collaborator, penpal, etc.

Audience is limited to 30. Sliding Scale donations accepted. Suggested $10-20.

Location to be announced before event. 4-5pm
